no, that's all you need, you might want really tiny sparkles. make sure the container you put it in is really tight too.
you can also use shortning drink flavoring and food coloring. just mix heat for 30 seconds and refridgerate

Yes, make sure you mix it really well and I don't know if I would use food coloring... eyeshadow works really well as long as it's mixed well... Food coloring has a tendency to stain your lips, eyeshadow won't stain...
